Erica JErica Jean or Erica J. joins the cast of Love & Hip Hop in season 4. The chaos and drama shown on the series has garnered huge ratings and a large fan following for the cast. But Erica isn’t looking to put on a show. She has allowed Mona Scott and the crew at VH1 a peak inside her life. Her real relationship with rapper Saigon and their battle for what’s best for their son Stephen aka Lil B will be all out there for everyone to judge. Erica has been with Saigon for 6 years. They met at a party in the Hamptons. They always had great chemistry together and were attracted to one another. They are also both Cancers which might explain why they mesh so well together. Erica and Saigon aren’t married but they chose to have Lil B together and will do what it takes to make things work.

eRICA jErica Jean was born in the Bronx but raised in Queens. Her mother is 100% Puerto Rican and her father is African American with Haitian roots. As a kid she was daddy’s little girl. Her parents were middle class both with decent jobs. Her mother was a bank teller and her father worked in construction. She was seen as a goody two shoes because her parents were so strict. They enforced good morals in their daughter and paid for her to go to Catholic school. She also had few friends and wasn’t allowed to hang out with kids in the neighborhoods. Despite her parents over protectiveness she still strived to make them proud. Erica attended Howard University and graduated with a 3.4 GPA. Erica was a Theater Arts Major and with her Bachelors Degree she moved back to NY and quickly got her feet wet with professional acting. Erica Jean has done several performances in the tri-state area including: James Baldwins’, Off Broadway production of Blues for Mister Charlie. Her love of acting continues, but as a hobby.

Today Erica hustles for her child. She is looking to get a career as a nurse as she continues her education. Erica is also a big fan of Hip Hop. Her favorite genre is 90’s Hip Hop, Tupac is one of her favorites.
